As an employee of the POA, operated by CCMC, Nexton's Lifestyle Director helps bring neighbors together through events, programming, clubs, partnerships and everyday opportunities to connect. From seasonal celebrations to casual get-togethers, the result is more familiar faces, more friendly waves and more reasons to feel at home.
A Lowcountry native with a background in hospitality and tourism, Chaselyn Williams knows how to create memorable experiences. At Nexton, she's the friendly face behind many of the events, clubs and traditions that bring the community to life. When she's not planning the next gathering, you'll likely find her behind a camera, with a good book or spending time outdoors.
At Nexton, there's always something worth showing up for. Through LiveNexton, residents enjoy more than 55 events each year, from outdoor concerts and seasonal celebrations to fitness classes, workshops and clubs. Some fill the event lawn. Others bring together just a handful of neighbors. There are activities for kids and families, opportunities to learn something new and plenty of reasons to say, "Sure, why not?"
Not only are hobbies the perfect antidote to work, work, work, they’re a tried and-true way to make new pals.
