THE TUNES
Outshyne’s smooth country tunes feel at once familiar and entirely fresh. Lowcountry natives, the five-man band has been making music since high school, sharing the stage with country music superstars Keith Urban, Jake Owen, and Gary Allen along the way. In 2013, they recorded Dirt Road Romance, written by the folks from Florida Georgia Line (who, in fact, used to open for Outshyne), and saw their album Startin Over debut Number 11 on iTunes. The following year Moonlight Crush hit number one on satellite radio, propelling them into the country music scene. Carolina Country Awards named Outshyne Vocal Group of the Year in 2017. Their newest album, Rumors, is a seamless mix of vintage and modern country, with notes of rock and pop. Relatable lyrics, perfect harmonies, and foot tapping tunes – it’s going to be another fantastic Sounds on the Square!
