Brown Family Park showcases just how fun and all-around-fabulous a park can be. In fact, the park opened with a concert by the Ben Miller Band, which marked the first time a Piccolo Spoleto event was hosted in Summerville. And it’s still rocking, with concerts and shows. Of course, its unique design and plantings also make it a great place to enjoy a quiet Lowcountry day.

We design great spaces for humans and also for pets. The Brighton Park Dog Park is available to all Brighton Park Residential Association owners. Conveniently located near the swim club, this new park will provide plenty of room for hours of exercising and socializing. With both large and small dog areas for pets of all sizes. We see a lot more running, playing and ball chasing in your pets future. Be sure to bring your key fob to access this new play area.

Some call them parks we call them hidden (and not-so-hidden) treasures. There’s Elbow Park, with its pick-up bocce games; Tall Gee Woods, a secret pocket park with lanky pine trees and areas for imaginative play; and Long Meadow Park with a hammock garden. If you’re looking for a distinct outdoor experience, we think you’ll be very pleased with what you find. 

Nexton Elementary opened in 2015. And it has already earned high praise. Rookie School of the Year from the South Carolina PTA. An achievement award from the Medical University of South Carolina/Boeing Center for Children’s Wellness. The region's only Common Sense Digital Leadership School. From coding clubs to veggie gardens, Nexton Elementary scores an A+ for smarts and innovation.

It’s been estimated that over half of today’s grade-school students will end up in jobs that haven’t been invented yet. So it’s a good thing Nexton Elementary is part of SC’s first gigabit community, creating the possibility for learning experiences that we’ve only begun to imagine. Add in tablet computers for every student, a coding club and a digital citizenship program, and you have a school that’s preparing students for whatever the future may hold.
