To us, parks are more than just pretty places. They are invitations to a healthier lifestyle. And they form the connections that hold the whole place together. That’s why we’ve devoted almost half of the community to parks, natural open space and a network of paved paths and rugged trails. And it’s why we’re making all of it especially wonderful with the help of world-class botanists and landscape architects. We even maintain our own nursery to supply lots of mature, locally grown trees. Why? To give the landscaping a head start and make the neighborhood feel well-established. To make your morning walk even more gratifying. And frankly, because we love growing things.
Swimming pools are natural people magnets. But of course when you're at the pool, you don't spend all your time in the pool. That's why the Swim Club in Nexton's Brighton Park Village offers a lot more than a 25-meter competition pool. There's also an interactive splash pad for small fry. A huge deck with shady areas. A covered pavilion. Lawn areas that can accommodate a volleyball game, a family picnic or just spending time with a good book. And with its big fire pit, the Swim Club is designed for year-round fun.
The way we see it, education is mission-critical for any community. So we're working on multiple fronts, with partners such as Berkeley County School District and local universities, to make sure every home in Nexton comes with a top-notch K-12 education as well as opportunities for lifelong learning.
