Back to School Bash
Let's get the school year started right and help those in need.
Please join us for an evening of family fun on August 13th from 5-7PM. During the event,
we will be collecting back-to-school donations in partnership with Teachers' Supply Closet
which serves children in the tri-county. The goal is to meet children's educational and creative
needs by providing free supplies, donated by businesses and individuals.
We’ll have family-friendly live music from Two 3 Ways, a stilt walker, balloon artist
and a face painter for the kiddos, plus a fun photo op area. And bring your appetite...
we'll also have food trucks - Wabi Sabi and Scoop 50Fifty Ice Cream.
The event will be held on the grassy lawn area of the newly opened The Midtown Club,
Nexton's newest amenity is open to homeowners in the Nexton Residential Association.

The 'admission' to this event is the donation of at least
one school supply item per family. Supplies most needed include:
composition notebooks, copy paper, gently used education books for Pre-K - 12th grade,
Kleenex, hand sanitizer, glue sticks, scissors, crayons, pocket folders, pencils and washable markers.
RSVP is required.
Teachers' Supply Closet provided 5,280 children from low-income families with free
school supplies in January - March of 2022. TSC helps students succeed in school and eliminates
the need for teachers to pay for needed products.
