Friendliest City in the USA
There's nothing like genuine Southern Hospitality. And according to Conde Nast Traveler readers, Charleston's got it in spades.
For the second year in a row, Charleston earned the top spot in Conde Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards for friendliest city. Rounding out the top five friendliest cities are Savannah, San Antonio, Telluride, and New Orleans.
Readers also recognized Charleston for its culture, history, natural beauty and food scene.
And speaking of food, nine Southern Living's 100 Best Restaurants in the South are located right here in Charleston.
