Come enjoy live music from country to classical. Delicious fare from some of the Lowcountry's favorite restaurants and food trucks. And evenings under the sky rotating between two beautiful town squares: downtown Summerville's freshly renovated Hutchinson Square and the exciting, Nexton Square.
Friday, October 18 | 7pm-9pm
@ Nexton Square
We’re excited to welcome The Shana Blake Band to Summerville for a funky, fresh take on traditional blues. Hailing from Charlotte, the ensemble’s rich sound is tinged with hints of R&B, funk, reggae, southern rock, gospel, country, and jazz. Songs run the gamut from expressive ballads to danceable grooves. You’ll hear anything-but-ordinary originals, as well as covers of old favorites. Singer/songwriter Shana Blake, veteran guitarist Keith Shamel, bassist Dave Eatman, and drummer/percussionist John Spurrier have decades of combined musical experience and the credentials to go with them. Shana’s song “This is Your Day” was adopted as the anthem for the Susan G. Koman Race For the Cure.
