It's time: all the details for the New Model Home Gallery Opening!
Is there such a thing as too many choices? Not a Nexton, and definitely not when it comes to designing a home that’s yours from granite to garage. This weekend we’re debuting six new model homes and over a dozen vibrant new home designs in Brighton Park Village. The new designs are the work of three thoughtfully selected new homebuilders—Ashton Woods, David Weekley Homes and Homes by Dickerson. They’ll be joining longtime favorites Pulte Homes and Saussy Burbank for a dynamic selection of homes rooted in Lowcountry style and accented with a fresh, modern twist. Below, a little of what you can expect at this weekend’s grand opening!
Here’s what’s new and now
This weekend you’ll be able to tour a beautifully appointed Mendenhall model home by Homes by Dickerson. Outside, homebuyers will find Nexton’s signature fresh Lowcountry style, and clean lines, open views, and refreshing finishes inside the 1.5 primary bedroom-down plan. Plus, a front loading garage will give homeowners a little more room in the backyard.
In addition to the Mendenhall, the fabulous Magnolia and Cooper plans are now available. Dickerson’s homes at Nexton will range from 1,900 to 2,400 sf, include a single-story floorplan, and start in the high $300s.
Ashton Woods is building the Berkeley plan as their model home at Nexton. A flexible plan chosen for its functionality and livability, the model home will carry on Nexton’s renowned attention to detail while adhering to Ashton Woods’ high design standards. The Berkeley model will be outfitted by the builders’ award-winning designers, so you can expect the style, fit and finish will leave potential homeowners inspired.
Other Ashton Woods plans ready for perusing include the Azalea, the Sangaree, and the Shepard. Homes by Ashton Woods at Nexton will range from 1,877 to 3,106 sf and start at $290,000.
Esteemed builder David Weekley will be displaying a myriad of custom choices in the Jenkins model home. With home designs perfectly positioned at the intersection of form and function, David Weekley builds homes that live as good as they look. More details on this new-to-Nexton builder coming soon.
Pulte Homes will be building fresh interpretations of their best-selling Primrose and Laurel home designs. The Primrose includes everything you need for luxurious family living: a grand open-concept kitchen and great room, a convenient Pulte Planning Center® with built-in desks, a butler's pantry, and oversized formal dining room. The flex space can be configured as a library with French doors. All bedrooms are located upstairs, including a spacious loft or fifth bedroom.
The Laurel home design is ideal for families, balancing gathering space and privacy. The new model will be updated with a screened-in patio and a “super shower” that truly lives up to its name! Downstairs, a first floor Primary Suite and modern open floor plan include an expansive great room with open flow into the gourmet kitchen with optional island and breakfast bar. Upstairs, the design has been upgraded to include an additional bedroom, bath, and loft.
Homes by Pulte at Nexton range from 1,420 to 3,215 sf and start in the high $200s. You can see their full selection of homeplans here.
The show-stopping wrap-around porch of Saussy Burbank’s Bayberry design is just one of the reasons it will be reprised in new model row. The well-loved floorplan also includes an abundance of new features: an optional (but highly recommended) sunroom, gourmet kitchen selection, and improved pirmary suite. All this compliments the Bayberry’s classic 10-foot ceilings, metal roofing, and convenient downstairs primary suite.

A little fun to bring in the new
Nexton is kicking off a season of new choices with a Fall Street Fair and Food Truck Festival. On Saturday, October 13 enjoy terrific tunes from 8 Mile Bend Band, voted Savannah’s best live band. Mac Daddy, Waffle Connection, Greekin’ Out, and Semilla food trucks will be on hand to fill your bellies, and Gelati Moto to end things with something sweet!
We’ll also have family-friendly games and events in Wiffle Park - like a face painter, caricature artist, and stilt walkers - as well as beer and wine at Alta Brighton Park apartments (where you can also see 14 new apartment designs), and the chance to win a YETI cooler filled with goodies.
