Summerville, S.C. – August 28, 2019 – Today, Federal contractor Akima announced the addition of its South Carolina location at The Offices at Nexton in Summerville.

Herndon, Virginia-based defense contractor, Akima, is currently leasing a 2,500 square-foot office space located at 201 Sigma Drive to better serve its regional contracts with the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic which designs, acquires, engineers and sustains the systems, sensor connections, cyber network infrastructures and knowledge management services for the U.S. Navy and other military agencies.
