Nexton Announces New Restaurant, Retail Openings
SUMMERVILLE, S.C. – July 9, 2025 – Nexton, South Carolina’s most innovative and walkable community, announced the opening of two new dining destinations, Naan Appetit and Woodhaven Pizza, at One Nexton, the community’s vibrant hub for retail, dining, and services at the intersection of Nexton Parkway and Brighton Park Boulevard. Across Nexton Parkway, Dance Moves of Charleston has also officially opened its doors, adding to the growing mix of amenities available to residents.
Naan Appetit brings its bold, authentic Indian cuisine to the region’s third Lowcountry location at One Nexton, now open daily for lunch and dinner. The menu features traditional favorites like crisp samosas, flavorful butter chicken and rich lamb curry, adding a dynamic layer of global flavor to Summerville’s dining scene.
In addition to its signature New York-style pies, Woodhaven Pizza serves a variety of baked pasta dishes, fresh salads, Italian hero sandwiches and classic antipasto favorites like meatballs and garlic knots. This second regional location builds on Woodhaven Pizza’s signature offerings with the addition of craft cocktails and live music.
Dance Moves of Charleston offers professional dance instruction for students of all ages and skill levels with a curriculum spanning ballet, jazz, tap and hip-hop. The studio also offers seasonal camps and customizable birthday party packages at both its Nexton and James Island location.
